WordPress plugin

Connect WordPress to your contextual backlink workflow

Install the plugin, paste your API token, and the platform can publish approved editorial articles directly to your site — then verify every backlink on the live page.

What it does

Publishing and verification, nothing else

The plugin is intentionally narrow: a secure publishing endpoint plus link verification. It doesn't touch your theme, plugins or content.

Secure REST API connection

The plugin exposes a dedicated, authenticated endpoint on the standard WordPress REST API — no FTP access, no admin credentials shared.

API token workflow

A token generated in your HYPERLINKS SEO dashboard authenticates every request. Revoke or rotate it at any time from either side.

Content publishing

Approved articles publish directly as WordPress posts with title, body, category and tags — ready for review in your admin like any other post.

Connection status

The plugin displays a live connection status so you always know whether the bridge between WordPress and the platform is healthy.

Backlink verification

After publication, the platform checks the live page through the connection and confirms the approved backlink is present and correct.

Light footprint

The plugin does one job — publishing and verification — and stays out of your theme, your editor and the rest of your site.

What the plugin does not do

Search "WordPress backlink plugin" and most results are auto-injection tools that scan your existing content and insert outbound links to unvetted websites in exchange for a fee or a reciprocal link. The HYPERLINKS SEO plugin doesn't work that way, and it's worth being specific about the difference: it does not modify or edit any of your existing content, it does not add links to your previous posts, it does not automatically accept inbound link placements from other sites, and it does not alter your theme, users or site settings. The only two things it does are publish content the platform sends it and verify that the resulting link is live — nothing runs unless you've approved a placement through your dashboard.

Compatibility: the plugin works with any WordPress installation (self-hosted or WordPress.org-managed) running a supported PHP version with the REST API enabled, which is the default on virtually every WordPress site built in the last several years. It doesn't require a specific theme or page builder, and it coexists with standard SEO and caching plugins. Some security plugins rate-limit or block the REST API by default — if that's the case on your site, the setup guide covers how to allow the connection.

Security

Security principles

  • Token-based authentication on every request — no shared admin passwords
  • Communication over the standard WordPress REST API via HTTPS
  • Tokens can be revoked or regenerated at any time
  • The plugin only creates posts; it cannot modify site settings, users or themes
  • Connection status is always visible in the plugin settings

Set up the connection in minutes

The setup guide covers installation, token configuration and testing the connection, step by step.
